Director Experience
Lewis Rose has been a Director since 1987 on Boards of global publicly-traded and private enterprises in multiple industries, as well as not-for-profit Boards. He has 30 years of senior leadership experience with several blue chip North American businesses including Maple Leaf Foods and Alliance Atlantis, having been a former CEO or President and Board Director in the consumer packaged goods, technology, food manufacturing, and media and entertainment industries. He has directed successful Strategic Transformations for both entrepreneurial and established businesses in declining and rapidly growing industries. He is also a CPA and former CFO, having led the domestic and cross- border fund raising, JV and IPO listing activities of over 25 mergers and acquisitions.
Lewis Rose has a proven track record in regulated industries where corporate governance, risk management and disciplined investment are critical; in the technology industry where a culture of innovation is key; and in capital intensive industries where low cost and sustainable operations are essential for profitable growth. He also understands capital markets and investment banking, having worked in Mergers and Acquisitions as well as Treasury and Operations management at CIBC Wood Gundy for 4 years.
With strong background in finance, strategy and operations, he has the experience and willingness to Chair Audit Committees. Lewis Rose holds the ICD.D designation as a certified Director of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Canada.
